The Weir Link is a registered charity and as such we are always looking at ways to increase our income by fundraising and donations – time, expertise or money!  

Any funds received are used to provide activities and resources for the local people who use our centre.

Do You Know About Gift Aid? 

What is Gift Aid? 

Gift Aid is a UK Government Initiative. As a registered Charity, we can reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. For example, if you give £1, HMRC will add a further 25p to that gift.  Find out more about Gift Aid. 

What do I have to do? 

When you donate, you will be asked to confirm whether or not you are a UK taxpayer. Please note that tax can only be reclaimed on donations made by individuals who pay UK income or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount reclaimed on their donations in the current tax year.  If you would like to participate in this initiative please complete this form.
